Need info on South FL WW Paddling

Hi… I’m looking for contacts or information regarding clubs and individuals in South Florida (Miami/Ft Lauderdale area) that are into whitewater kayaking and making the trek North to TN/NC/AL — where ever — in search of Class 3/4/5 whitewater. Who’s out there in South FL? DanaMari

Well, I do sme whitewater paddling. Being lcked in South Florida I spend most of my boating time in the ocean waves or on the small rivers we have down here. We have a few clubs down here that paddle around a bit but most of them are Sea Kayaking clubs. In the jupter/Tequesta area the Coconut Kayakers go surfing alot and own the most WW boats of any group I know of down here. I will be heading up to PA in July for at least a week of WW on the Yough. I personaly don’t get the time off I need to get away and paddle as much as I’d like to. I would be interested in a trip or two for a few days myself. Charlie Hutchinson Motorola PPG
