What The Heck is N and S Americas?
Question:
In the Shipping Charges section there is N & S Americas. Is N. America Canada? Its not the USA. If N. America is Canada, then why is it still on the selection list? Could be because if someone wanted both USA and Canada, N Americas would save 2 whole seconds from checking 2 separate boxes.

Oh, its 250am on the West Coast, and I’m packing Hell Money for Airmail to France. What are you doing? Buying or Selling?
Response:
Thats not the question. If you click the selection ”N & S Americas” then why are CANADA and Mexico separate choices? If you click N & S Americas, and NOT CLICK Canada, then buyers will think its covered under N. America.
This is nothing new. You can also choose "Europe" or just choose "Germany" or "UK" — or you can choose "Asia" or just "Japan" Yes, if you choose N and S America, this means that you ship to Canada (among others) and you don’t need to click Canada in addition. Or you can choose just Canada and not the rest of N and S America What has changed is that this options used to read just "Americas" and many US sellers thought that this was synonymous with "USA only." Their auctions would appear in search results for items that could be shipped to Canada, Mexico, etc. and well, much confusion and frustration resulted.

What if you ship to Canada only or Mexico only or both, yet not to N. or S. America. Where are you looking? In the US the choice is just ‘Americas.’ Which is pretty stupid for them not to break it down into N, S and Central America. Even then. Just selecting N. America means you will ship to Bermuda too. Maybe they should list areas by continent, then have a drop down checkbox for each country. Who knows. I’m like you though, who cares. I ship worldwide too! People who don’t, just don’t get it.
The "Americas" option is bad for another reason too. I’ve emailed at least 50 sellers to ask how much shipping charges to Canada are, and at least 45 times the response has been "We only ship inside our AMERICAS!". These are usually southern sellers, and I’m sure they still go out out to check their "male" box to see if I’ve sent a money order.

No it includes Canada and Mexico (see my post above). Greenland however, is a non-continental island from a geological perspective, and part of Europe from a political perspective.

Besides the languge barrier and the cusoms hassles, the main problem is that the New Mexico truck tires are a different size and spacing. Thus requiring everything to be reloaded at the border crossings. Technically there is no contenient called Central America. Although several countries between USA and Columbia (S. America) are often called Central America they are really part of North America. — When you hear the toilet flush, and hear the words "uh oh", it’s already too late. - by anonymous Mother in Austin, TX To reply, replace digi.mon with phreaker.net
